On Sunday, while leaving the Montage hotel in Beverly Hills, megastar Rihanna was shocked when she made a startling discovery... Her father, Ronald Fenty.

Fenty decided to surprise his 25-year-old daughter by making an unannounced visit to the singer.  As she and a friend were about to head down to DreamWorks Studios, the songstress discovered her father was waiting for her by the car.

Rihanna, who was wearing a bright blue Fila baseball cap and oversized grey hoodie sweatshirt with matching workout trousers, stood in awe with her mouth agape at the sight of her father.
The Diamonds singer quickly rushed over to her father, where the two embraced.
Rihanna was heading into the studio for work on the new Dream Works Animation comedy Home. The pop singer plays Tip, a teenage girl who stands up to an alien invasion by avoiding capture.
Later that evening, Rihanna accompanied her brother Rajad as the siblings sat courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Portland Trail Blazers game at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

VICTORIA BECKHAM'S WEDDING TIARA TO GO ON SALE

 

VictoriaBeckham's wedding tiara is to be put up for auction as the ex-Spice Girl edits the iconic fashion magazine Paris Vogue. The gold and diamond crown tiara, made by jewellery designer Slim Barrett, was worn by Victoria at her wedding to David Beckham in July 1999. It is expected to reach between £18,000 and £25,000 when it is auctioned at Bonhams in London next week, having been put up for sale by Barrett. The piece goes on sale as the first images of the Christmas edition of Paris Vogue magazine, edited by Victoria, have been released.

The 39-year-old appears in a seductive pose on the front cover of the magazine with her retired footballer husband, who is photographed sporting a beard and dinner jacket.

Editor-in-chief Emmanuelle Alt described Victoria as "spontaneous, full of humour... modest but at the same time equipped with a healthy ambition".

The issue, which goes on sale next week, also contains some comments from Victoria about her marriage.

"David and I have been through lots of things together," she says. 

"There have been highs and lows. But we are very proud of each other."

Irish designer Barrett called Victoria's wedding tiara East Of Paris.

He said of his creation: "Inspiration for East Of Paris came from my love of Eastern design and Parisian haute couture ... so I set out to fuse the two styles."

The fairytale piece, which was exhibited by the Victoria & Albert Museum in its 100 Tiaras, Past And Present show, is made from 18-carat yellow gold, set with large brilliant-cut diamonds and suspended diamond drops.

It was commissioned for the Beckhams' wedding but was then kept by Barrett, who has collaborated with Chanel, Versace and John Galliano and designed pieces for Mick Jagger and Diana, Princess of Wales.

He has also worked with Beyonce and Lady Gaga recently to create personalised, experimental pieces.
