ANGELINA JOLIE RECEIVES HOLLYWOOD HUMANITARIAN AWARD

She is one of most brilliant actresses in  Hollywood, a philanthropist, a mother of six children and  a wife, she is Angelina Jolie. She is the most watched and celebrated Hollywood actress and when you put his A list actor husband, Brad Pitt it is not difficult to see why, together they form one of the powerful and gorgeous looking couple in Hollywood.

 

The ceremony  took place at the Grand Ballroom of the Hollywood and Highland Center and the purpose of the event was to present the Academy's honorary awards in a private, non-televised and black-tie affair with the added benefit of dinner and drinks. Angelina, 38, has been focusing on her second directorial debut, Unbroken, being filmed in Australia. It's very much a labour of love, and ever the professional, it's taken up most of the mother of six's time since she recovered from the preventative double mastectomy she had earlier in the year. Brad and Angelina proud parents of Maddox 12, who also had the pleasure of their eldest child, at the event.

Angelina looked simply beautiful in a black gown that swept the floor and boasted a small train.

The dress had a low-cut neckline with lace cap sleeves, and was embellished with a pretty sequin design. The A List actress wore her brunette tresses in a ballerina inspired style, slicked back and knotted in a low bun. She is arguably the most gorgeous woman in the world and Angelina highlighted her natural beauty with little make-up, save for a generous flick of black eyeliner and some red lip gloss.

There is Naomi with her domination in the runways and catwalks in Europe and America for more than two decades and still counting and here in Tanzania we have our own former beauty queen and currently top model Millen criss crossing the world to participate in catwalks between Africa and the US. In this year's MBFW that just concluded in Pretoria this November, this Tanzanian beauty was in  many shows as either a curtain raiser or closer which proves the fact that she is  just so in demand and designers do trust her to give life to their precious designs and evoke the emotions intended when those designs are on her beautiful body.

FLAVIANA MATATA, ANOTHER TANZANIAN DOING US PROUD

She wowed the country during the Miss Universe Tanzania pageant in 2007,  where he clinched the title and went on to represent in the Miss Universe pageant the same year, where she was placed among the Top 15 semi finalists and ended up in 6th place after the evening gown competition. She was the first contestant from Tanzania to compete at Miss Universe 2007, and compete with a shaved head.

Matata has modeled print advertisements for Sherri Hill. In March 2011 she won the Model of the Year award by Arise Magazine at Lagos Fashion Week; she has also featured in the magazines Dazed & Confused, Glass Magazine, L'Officiel and i-D Magazine.  Matata has also done some runway modelling for brands like Mustafa Hassanali, Vivienne Westwood, Tory Burch, Suno, and Louise Gray and has featured in the Alexander McQueen film tribute and Top Shop Spring 2011 ad campaign. she still continue to model for top fashion designers and big retail shops all over the world. MILLEN MAGESSE, BEAUTY WITH SO MUCH PURPOSE

She is beautiful, sassy, humble and hard working, she is Millen Magesse, a former beauty queen and currently gracing the runways all over the fashion cities of the world. She is also involved in sharing her blessings with the less fortunate in Tanzania specifically Mtwara. Kuna usemi wa Kiswahili kuwa mkataa kwao ni mtumwa, leo hii naileta kwako wilaya ya Ludewa ambapo mimi ndio natoka huko kwani ni asili yetu. Bibi yangu mzaa baba ndo alikozaliwa na hivyo sisi ni kabila la Wapangwa ambao ni wakazi wa asili wa wilaya hiyo.

Ludewa District^[ is one of five districts in the Njombe Region in Tanzania, East Africa. Prior to 2012, the district was one of the seven districts of Iringa Region. The town of Ludewa is the administrative seat of the district. A hospital is located in the city. The district is bordered to the north by the Njombe Rural District and Makete District to the southeast by the Ruvuma Region and to the southwest by the country of Malawi across Lake Malawi/Lake Nyasa

Recently there have been discoveries of massive coal deposits, where foreign investors have been on board in Ludewa putting infrastructure that would enable to awaken these natural deposits into economic use and gain for both parties. also there has been small scale mining activities for gold and toumeline, a precious gem. Most of the population depends on agriculture and fishing as the main economic activities.

MIRIAM ODEMBA FIFTEEN YEARS LATER, STILL GOING STRONG!!!!!!!!!!

Miriam Odemba  was born  in 1983 from Arusha, Tanzania, she  is Miss Tanzania Earth 2008 and Miss Earth Air 2008 (first runner up). Odemba is a Tanzanian model. She is one of the best models from Tanzania where she started her modeling career at an early age and emerged into the limelight in 1997 when she won the Miss Temeke title. The following year she took part in the Miss East Africa beauty pageant and finished second. At 13, her life was tough and her parents had to move to their uncle. She always wondered what life was all about then. As she grew older, she perceived God’s message of love and started appreciating everything around her especially the nature, God’s greatest gift to not only to her but to all of us.

She has been gracing the covers of various international fashion magazines and various campaigns all over the world, she is now a mother to a beautiful daughter Iris, with her figure and looks she looks so gorgeous that is so difficult to imagine that she has been in the business for more that fifteen years. she still looks incredible youthful with her figure and even skin tone, well she is set to be in this industry for much more, by the grace of God.

SHERIA NGOWI, TANZANIAN GOT AMAZING TALENT

Sheria Ngowi (Born as Walter Thomas Ngowi on October 1st, 1982 the second of five children). He is a  Tanzanian fashion designer and Founder of the Sheria Ngowi Brand. He was raised in a middle-class family of the Late Mr. Thomas Kishari Ngowi and Mrs. Mary Mathias Kessy. His Father was a lawyer while my mother was a Bank Accountant. He studied Law but my career has taken the path of Fashion Designing. His interest in Fashion has been with me for as long as I can remember, his  parents were also an influence especially my father who had a  love for fashion and sense of style which inspired him a lot. He remember styling my parents before they left the house for any event and pretty soon I was the family stylist this made me realize I had a talent in Fashion 
My career famously began in 2008 when He debuted his designs for both women and men under Brand name Sheria Na Mavazi in Mysore, India. So Sheria Na Mavazi stands for Dressing Principles or Regulations. In 2009, He launched his first professional collection under his own name Sheria Ngowi Designs. The Collection was a dedication to his late father who was the driving force behind his love for fashion. He decided to focus on one gender at a time to ensure that he put his all into each of the collections and the women's collection is on the way
